Announcement: Free and Fair Election Campaign New Mexico 2026
From late July through Election Day, a statewide network of grassroots activists will be working toward one goal: massive turnout for November's midterm election in New Mexico.
Rural Indivisible New Mexico has convened a growing working group of people from across New Mexico who have already begun a grassroots campaign to achieve this massive turnout. This group will be supporting fellow New Mexico grassroots progressives so that they can promote free and fair elections in their own communities.
Democracy is under siege in the United States. One of the biggest threats is coming from Donald Trump and his Cabinet, especially Department of Homeland Security Markwayne Mullin and the Department of Justice. They have been trying to disrupt state election administration, suppress voting, and sow chaos and distrust as we head into the November general election season. The best response: massive turnout for the midterm elections.
The Free and Fair Election NM 2026 Campaign is a collaboration between Rural Indivisible New Mexico and Land of Action. Land of Action is proud to support this new statewide initiative.
